....I think we were all kinda feeling the wrath of being back to work/school for a full week after the holidays and were really tired Friday night. Alexa had gymnastics until 7:30 - and then we just snuggled in with some pizza and a movie and then went to bed early.
....We took it easy on Saturday, too. The girls decided that it would be fun to watch a movie in their closet...
....Lauren and her husband Jesse came over for dinner and drinks on Saturday night. Lauren and I have been blogger buddies for awhile and thought it would be nice to involve our husbands in a little meet and greet. You have no idea how much coaxing it took for us to get their eyes peeled away from the football game and off the couch to come take this picture with us. "Why do you need a picture of us???" "We're bloggers - DUH!"
The girls loved showing Lauren their fashion designs and asked if next time she comes that she can have a sleep over. I think she won them over when she started singing One Direction songs....and then she may or may not have drank an entire bottle of wine by herself...and then 2 beers after that. haha Sorry, girl - it just had to be said. ;) My husband isn't any closer to fully understanding the 'blogging world' , but he knows now that you truly can meet some very amazing people that we love to call - our friends. :)
....Sunday was the usual, Sunday school for the girls and then mass afterward. We took the girls to lunch and ran a few errands before going home to be lazy for the afternoon.
....Lilli found her BOB Books and took turns reading to daddy, sister and I. We watched some TV and took a nap - a perfect Sunday!

My husband always rolls his eyes when I talk about my "friends" through blogging that I have never met. I don't think he gets it either!

I am awful at commenting as well, but I have enjoyed watching your blog and family grow! What a beautiful post! I used to do weekly letters to my son, and for a while did post it notes in a similar fashion to this post. I like the format of this, and may join you in the future!!
