I am super excited to be featuring Essential Swimwear on Mom-a-Logues. When I was given the opportunity to review a swimsuit from Brittney's collection, I was beyond thrilled for the chance.
With summer in full swing...the pools and beaches are apart of our weekly plans (well, at least they are in mine! ) and who doesn't want to look amazing while taking a dip in the lake or basking in the glorious sun?
Essential Swimwear offers a collection of modest, yet stylish swimsuits for us women.
I always go back and forth on what's appropriate for me to wear - I'm a mom of 2 little girls {ages 7 and 4} and just turned 30. Even tho I feel young enough to prance around in a bikini (ha, I wish) I think that something a little more reserved is what I'm looking for. I want to look great, but in something that is age and body appropriate. Essential Swimwear had just what I was looking for.
I am so grateful to Brittney for sending me the rouched halter top in plum and matching high waisted bottoms.
When I described it to my husband he was like...High Waisted Bottoms...?? Umm...No!
Well, to his (and actually mine, too) surprise, they are actually quite flattering - especially paired with the rouched top. This swimsuit could not be more flattering to those of you who are trying to hide some problem areas around the tummy and butt. The bottoms are low cut and the rouching of the top is like a magic wand to hide any kind of love handles you may have going on.
The beauty of the bottoms is that you can actually roll them down to make a cute pair of hip huggin bottoms, too, whatever you are most comfortable with.
The quality is exceptional, I truly feel like I'll be wearing this swimsuit for years to come.
In Brittany's Words:
After becoming thoroughly discouraged every season as I searched for the perfect swimsuit, I decided that it didn't exist. I was frustrated with expensive prices, wrong fits and the hassle of searching online for hours. Having some sewing experience, the thought came to mind, "Why don't I make my own swimsuit?"
After a lot of trial and error, I was finally able to sew swimsuits that were comfortable, stylish and flattering. I began making swimsuits for friends and family and soon the word started spreading.
I sold hand-made women's swimsuits for two years and received an overwhelmingly positive response. I gained priceless knowledge as I personally fit hundreds of women. I was able to discover their needs, wants and insecurities. With this knowledge I started designing swimsuits and now have them manufactured to keep up with demand and increase quality.
I hope you enjoy wearing these swimsuits as much as I have enjoyed designing them!
