Ok, how annoying was it that the 4th of July fell on a Wednesday this year? I so did not want to get up and come to work this morning. Did any of you have to work today and tomorrow, or were you smart and took time off for an extra long weekend?
A couple other bummers for this particular 4th was that it was over 100 degrees here in Minnesota and my husband had to work ALL day! I was sad that he wasn't able to spend the day with us, but we had a great day nonetheless.

We went over to our neighbor's house for the annual 4th of July party. We beat the heat and enjoyed ourselves outside in their back yard where they had a tent set up and some big outdoor fans to help keep us cool.

We visited with friends and the kids played most of the afternoon, then we took the girls home for a bit to rest before the fireworks.

How adorable are those girls of yours! Love their dresses. Stinks that your hubby had to work all day because WHOSE idea was it to have the 4th on a Wednesday???? Hope you and the girls had a great time.
